Is Shambhala a hotel?
No. Shambhala is a holiday apartment complex designed for you to live at your own pace. There are no impersonal hallways or strict schedules here: you have privacy, your own kitchen, and total freedom, with services that are supportive without being intrusive.
Where is Shambhala? Is it a quiet area?
We’re located in Parque Holandés, a residential area between Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario. It’s a quiet place, surrounded by nature, where you can breathe in peace. To get around the island freely, we recommend renting a car.
What are the entry and exit times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. If you need to adjust these times, please contact us: we will do our best to help you (if you arrive very late, please note that reception closes at 6:00 PM and you will need to contact us for access information).
How does the cleaning service work?
Your apartment will be spotless upon arrival. During your stay, you can request a free change of towels and sheets every 5 days. We do not offer daily cleaning to preserve your privacy and minimize our environmental impact. If you require extra cleaning, we are happy to arrange it (for an additional fee).
Is breakfast offered?
Yes. Every morning at Jablito—our gastro pool bar—we serve a healthy breakfast buffet between 8:00 and 11:00. Afterward, we remain open until 5:00 PM with fresh and tasty options to accompany your day.
Is there parking?

Is Shambhala accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Not entirely. The complex does not have ramps or elevators in all areas. If you require specific assistance, please contact us and we will advise you on the most suitable options.
What is the cancellation policy?
We offer two rate options so you can choose the one that best suits your trip:
Flexible Rate
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival.
If you cancel later, or don’t show up, you will be charged the equivalent of one night’s stay.
If you decide to leave early, the remaining amount will not be refunded.
The guarantee card can be validated before arrival.
Non-Refundable Rate (allows 1 change)
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellation is not permitted without penalty.
In case of cancellation, the amount will be credited towards another booking within the same year.
No refunds will be given for early departures or no-shows.
For date changes, please contact us at atencioncliente@destinyhome.es. If the new period is more expensive, you will pay the difference. If it is cheaper, the difference will not be refunded.
Do I need a car to get around the island?
Yes, it’s highly recommended.
Fuerteventura is a large, sparsely populated island, so having a car will allow you to move around freely, easily reach beaches, towns, and natural areas, and make the most of your stay. Shambhala has good road connections, but public transport is limited.
